A FEW THINGS BEFORE YOU HIT THE TRAIL
Good questions.
Straight answers.
No complicated map needed. Here’s what to know about the game, the Moose, and where we’re headed.
01What is Hunting SZN?
Hunting SZN is an existing Ethereum NFT collection launched in early 2023, now being revived as a gaming, storytelling and community project by two original team members. We’re building small, enjoyable experiences around the original Moose and their world.
02What is The Journey Home?
It’s an early prototype of a simple, free browser runner. Jump obstacles and collect glowing grass. You can try it on desktop or mobile, but it is still being developed and is not a finished game.
03Is the game free?
Yes. The Journey Home is completely free to play in your browser. There is no download, account, purchase or wallet connection required.
04Do I need an NFT to play?
No. Everyone is welcome to play, explore the story and join the community, whether or not they own a Moose.
05What benefits do NFT holders receive?
The original collection remains at the heart of the project. No holder-only game features are live yet. We’re considering playable NFT characters, exclusive cosmetics, holder challenges and special recognition. These ideas are not guaranteed benefits, and no release dates have been set.
06Will there be more games?
We’d like to build additional browser mini-games, alongside animations and story content. For now, The Journey Home is an early playable prototype. We’re a small hobby project, so future releases will be announced when there is something concrete to share.
07Are more Hunting SZN NFTs being minted?
We are not reopening minting of the original collection. There are 1,443 existing Hunting SZN NFTs. This website has no minting functionality.
08Where can I buy an existing Moose?
You can explore existing NFTs on the official Hunting SZN OpenSea collection. Purchases happen on the marketplace, not this website. Check the Ethereum contract shown in our footer before interacting.
09How can I join the community?
Join our official Discord or follow @HuntingSZN_ on X. Players, holders and curious newcomers are all welcome.
10Where is my high score saved?
Your best distance is stored locally in this browser. It won’t sync between devices or browsers, and clearing website data can remove it. There is no online leaderboard or account system at this stage.
11What happened to the glowing grass?
In the original story, the Moose gathered samples for their scientists. The results were never revealed. The Moose returned home, but the mystery remains unresolved.
